Asked Questions
Q: Are there noise regulations?
A: Quiet time is all the time but especially after 11 pm. All radios must
be turned off at 11 pm.
Q: Are campfires permitted?
A: Moderate, supervised campfires are permitted. Firewood is available
for sale at the office. Skids are not permitted as firewood. Firewood
from some parts of Ontario is not permitted to help prevent the spread
of the elm ash borer.For the latest updates please

Q: Are the sites shaded or open?
A: We have both. Overnight sites are shaded a dark green colour on our
park site map. (Hint: Place your mouse over each overnight site for a full
site description.)
Q: Are pets allowed in the park?
A: You may bring your pet with you! Dogs must be leashed and you must
clean up after them. A dog swim area is provided in the fishing pond. Dogs
are not permitted on the beach or in the swimming areas.
Q: Are the swimming areas supervised?
A: No. The campground does not provide any lifeguards or supervision at
any of the swimming pools, ponds or creek. Parental supervision is
essential.
Q: When is the campground open?
A: The campground is open for camping from the beginning of May through
the end of October.

Q: Can I have visitors?
A: Overnight and day visitors pay an admission fee. (See
Rates) Please remember that day visitors must depart by 11pm. Campers
are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

Q: When is the snackbar open?
A: Generally, the snackbar is open weekends at the beginning of the
season until the end of September. It is open daily in July and August.

Q: Do you have group camping?
A: We have hosted groups of up to 12 units. There are a limited number of
overnight sites available. The recreation hall is available during the
week for use by groups.
Q: Are there any restrictions on trailers that
seasonal campers may wish to bring in to the park?
A: Yes. We reserve the right to all new park model trailer sales in
the park, and keep in reserve seasonal sites for these units. Please call before you buy elsewhere to avoid confusion.
Q: Is the campground open to the public?
A: CG's Fun Putt, Paddle Boats, Pedal Karts, Play area and Snack Bar
are available to the public. The swimming pool is restricted to registered
campers and their guests only.
